Obituary

Mary A. (Kowalczyk) Skulski – Of Harwich formerly of 108 Lincoln St. Dedham (August 31, 2009). Devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Skulski. Survived by her sister Antoinette C. Brown and her husband Charles J. Brown of Dedham. Beloved sister of the late Catherine (Stacia) Grzyb, Blanche Morrissey, Stanley Kowalczyk and Edward Kowalcik. Aunt of the late George Grzyb, Irene Wildman, Cynthia Kowalczyk and Stanley (Skippy) Kowalczyk. Great aunt of the late Michael Grzyb. Survived by many nieces, nephews and several great nieces and great nephews. Loving keeper of hearth and home at 108 Lincoln Street where she presided over many holiday dinners providing Babka bread, Baklava, bread pudding and entertained family and friends on her beloved organ. Her home was always surrounded by the beautiful garden she nurtured and the young lives she always welcomed in her heart and home. She was an avid gardener, collector of clocks, talented seamstress working at Berman’s of Boston and later retired from the Boston Envelope Company of Dedham.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, on Friday, September 4th from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass to be held on Saturday, September 5th at 10:30am at St. Mary’s Church in Dedham.
