Bounthavy Phomvihane, 32 of Woonsocket, RI died Saturday, August 1st at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA. He was born in Vientiane Laos, the son of Savath Phomvihane of Vientiane Laos; Thao Phomvihane and Seme Chanthanhothirath of Woonsocket, RI. He is survived by his sister, Ratsamy Phomvihane of Woonsocket; his brother Khanhty Chanthanhothirath and his wife Touny of Woonsocket; his grandparents, Nao and Chanthy Phouthaboun of Santa Rosa, CA; his four aunts, two uncles, 9 cousins, two nieces, one nephew, and his love Phoung Phoeun of Providence; his children Ira, Karrianna, Kiana and Adriana. Bounthavy enjoyed fishing, eating out, watching TV, fixing cars and spending time with his family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the funeral home, followed by cremation at 11:00 AM at East Bay Crematory in East Providence.
