Obituary

Mary Ann R. Landers, 69, passed away July 9th, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Sanford, FL. Mary Ann was born in Lawrence MA on July 21, 1939 to the late Joseph and Angelina (Salvo) Tomaselli. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1956. Mary Ann and her husband lived in Derry, NH for 42 years and then retired to Sanford, FL in 2006. In her career, Mary Ann was employed for many years by the former Derry Bank & Trust Company as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer. She continued her career within the New Hampshire Judicial System, having worked in the Derry District Court, the Manchester Superior Court and the Salem District Court. Mary Ann retired in 2002 due to an illness. Throughout her career she made hundreds of friends because she loved everyone. Mary Ann was a people person and she literally wore her “heart on her sleeve” for all who came in contact with her during her life. Mary Ann was a family orientated person and especially loved her grandchildren and her three young great grandsons in Florida. She was able to be with her great grandsons in Florida for the past three years and they brought much joy to her life during that time.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Norman P. Landers of Sanford, FL; two daughters, Sharon and her husband Joseph Grabowski of Sanford, FL, Deborah and her husband William Ross of Manchester, NH; her brother, Guy Tomaselli and his wife Frances of Derry; her grandchildren, Julie Grabowski McKee and her husband Madison McKee of Sorrento, FL, David Grabowski and his wife Amanda of Winter Springs, FL, Amanda Jo Grabowski of Lake Mary, FL, and Heather Ann Ross, of Manchester; her three great-grandsons, David Grabowski, Nathan Grabowski and Madison Mckee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, whom she loved dearly.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday July 14th from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. The burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may made to American Parkinson Disease Association, NH Chapter, 14 Sparhawk Dr., Londonderry, NH 03053.
