Taunton, Michael Angelo Guzman, a lifetime Taunton resident, died suddenly on Sunday, May 24th 2009. He was 51 years of age. He was the companion of Delia Galarza of Taunton. He was born in Taunton, son of Dale (Diak) Guzman and the late Angelo Guzman. At the time of this death he was a self employed courier in Taunton. He was educated in the Taunton schools and a graduate of Taunton High. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran. Michael was a kind hearted person, who loved sports and music. In addition to his mother, he leaves seven children, Angela J. Ordonee of CA, Dawn M. Guzman of FL, Jeffery M. Guzman of Korea, Michael A. Guzman of FL, Anthony Quinones, Junior Quinones, and Nathaniel Sousa all of Taunton. He also leaves four sisters, Wanita Downey of S. Dennis, Colleen Guzman of Taunton, Lori Rivers of Fall River, and Lisa Lopes of NH, and one brother Manuel Rivers of Taunton. He is also the brother of the late Todd Guzman. He also leaves five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1pm at the Taunton Funeral Home 8 Crapo St. (off Tremont St). Relatives and friends invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 11am to 1pm. Cremation will follow service. Burial of cremains at Bourne National Cemetery.
