Fall River - Donna L. (Manchester) Carr, 46, of Tiverton, RI died after a brief illness on February 13, 2009 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the wife of Stuart W. Carr.
Mrs. Carr was born in Fall River, daughter of Lawrence E. Manchester of Lake City, FL and the late Claris (Thornsbury) Manchester, and resided most of her life in Tiverton. She was a graduate of Tiverton High School, class of 1980 and later graduated from the Sawyer School, Middletown, RI as a medical assistant. She was employed by Fall River Knitting from 1980 to 1982 and later worked at Tru-Med Walk In New Bedford from 2000 to 2004.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by 3 daughters: Melissa Raposa, Jordan Raposa and Riley Carr, all of Tiverton; 3 sons: Edward Raposa III, Joshua Raposa and Andrew Raposa, all of Tiverton; a sister: Tracey Medeiros of Fall River; a brother: David Manchester of North Providence, RI; 2 nieces; and 3 nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the Bliss Four Corners Church, 1264 Stafford Road, Tiverton, RI.
