BYCZKOSKI- Of Chelsea, February 13th, Lucy Ann (Wisniewski) at 90 years of age. Devoted wife for 69 years of Edmund S. Byczkoski, Sr. Daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Zalewska) Beloved mother of Lucille Kopacznski and her late husband Paul of Stoneham, Edmund S. Byczkoski, Jr. and Thomas Byczkoski of Chelsea. Adoring grandmother of Ann Catalano of North Reading, Mary Burns of Billerica, Lynn Casa of Epping, New Hampshire, Elaine Navarro of Stoneham, Beth Agneta of Plaistow, New Hampshire, Edmund Kopaczynski of Litchfield, New Hampshire, Robin Byczkoski of New Hampshire, Joseph Kopaczynski of Springfield, Pennsylvania, Edmund S. Byczkoski, III of Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Thomas Kopaczynski of Danvers. Great grandmother of Adam, Nicholas, Amanda, Daniel, Caitlin A., Kyle, Caitlyn B., Evangelyn, Jonathan, Edmund IV, Robert, Jr., Katrina, E'Angelyliz and Paul Joseph. Sister of the late Genevieve Coakley, Louis Wisniewski, Chester Wisniewski and Frank Wisniewski all formerly of Chelsea. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Tuesday morning, February 17th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, Chelsea at 10 o'clock. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Lucy a graduate of Chelsea High School class of 1937, passed away at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett early Thursday morning. Shortly after high school she went to work for American Optical of Chelsea and then onto working for Bloomberg Brothers also of Chelsea. Lucy spent her retirement years residing with her husband Edmund and traveled up and down the east coast and enjoyed many cruises. She also enjoyed painting and collecting photographs.
