Evelyn Mueller, age 84, of La Grange passed away January 22, 2009 at Monument Hill Nursing Center. She was born June 8, 1924 in Burton to parents, Herman Hinze and Laura (Plueckhahn) Hinze.
She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family and friends.
Evelyn Mueller is survived by one son, Steve Mueller of La Grange; one sister, Ruby Lehmann and her husband Raymond of Ledbetter; brothers-in-law, Vastine Mueller and his wife Lorena of La Grange and Edgar Frerichs and his wife Marion of La Grange; sisters-in-law, Ira Hinze of Carmine and Louise Witt of Victoria and Doris Hartmann of La Grange;one granddaughter Theresa Garlin and her husband Dwayne of Ledbetter and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lorenz Mueller, four brothers and one sister.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday evening.
The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Rutersville. Interment will be in the Rutersville Cemetery in Rutersville. Reverend Glen Hohlt will officiate at the service.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
