MANCHESTER-Rita (Pinsonneault) Birmingham, 78, died January 4, 2009 at the home of her daughter following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester, NH on March 22, 1930 the daughter of Wilfred and Ida (Bourque) Pinsonneault and had been a life long resident of this city prior to moving to her daughters in Goffstown due to declining health.
She was a graduate of St. George High School and Hesser College. Prior to her retirement in 1992 she had worked for Verizons, Inc.
She had been a communicant of St. George Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Morris Birmingham in 1992.
Members of her family include 5 sons, Morris (Tony) Birmingham of Boston, MA., Martin Birmingham of St. Petersburg, FL., Michael Birmingham of Goffstown, Marc Birmingham and Paul Birmingham both of Manchester,: 3 daughters Marjory Gibeault and Melanie Pouliot both of Goffstown and Maureen Birmingham of Exeter, 13 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren. 2 brothers Robert Pinsonneault of FL. and Wilfred (Pete) Pinsonneault of Portsmouth and several nephews.
IN HER LIFE:She was predeceased by one sister Collette Lemay who died in 1995, Jeanne Pinsonneault who died in 1929 and a brother Jean Pinsonneault who died in 1928.
There are no calling hours.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM in St. Joseph Cathedral Chapel on Lowell St., Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
