Obituary

Frances Hardin Patrick, 98, Clarksville, died Monday, December 1, 2008, at Montgomery County Care and Rehab Center. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Clifton, TN with Rev. Ward Carver officiating. Burial will be in Clifton City Cemetery, Clifton, TN. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the church. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born April 29, 1910 in Olive Hill,Hardin County, TN, daughter of the late John Robert Hardin and Fannie Harbour Hardin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Edward Patrick, Sr., brother, James L. Hardin, and grandson, Grey Patrick. Mrs. Patrick was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution for seventy- two years, which included membership in the Col. John Mitchell Chapter of Anchorage, Alaska, and the Col. Joseph Hardin Chapter, of Savannah, TN. She served as an officer in both chapters. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at the University of Tennessee. She was a retired librarian and teacher with the Davidson County Schools and was a member of Vine Street Christian Church in Nashville. Survivors include son, Herb Patrick (Lyn), Clarksville; daughter, Jane Micol (Colonel Retired Victor E.), Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Frances Micol Keller (Scott), Ed Patrick, Bo Micol, and Hardin Patrick. Pallbearers will be Ed Patrick, Bo Micol, Scott Keller, Gene Howard, Don Howard, Warren Miller, Michael Davis, Bob Hardin, and Joe Hailey. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Col.
