POWELL, RAYMOND THOMAS "POP," 82, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008.
He was the retired owner and operator of Windsor Door Systems, a member of the Carpenter's Union, and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Josephine Powell, and his son, James Powell.
Survivors include his children, Lindsey Powell, Dena Tompkins, Karen Neumeister (Carl), Pamela Sandmann, Sheila Perkins (David), Kim Brand (Bruce), Linda O'Bryan and Bobby Moore; 26 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; his brother, F. Powell; and sisters, Tresa Smith (George), Pernie Sacra (Tom), Margaret Higdon, and Alma Stinson (James).
Funeral services will be noon Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Clarkson Cemetery, Clarkson, KY.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
