Mr. Albert Cosenza

POMPANO BEACH, FLORIDA -Mr. Albert Cosenza, 82, formerly of Worcester passed away Wednesday November 5th at the North Broward County Hospital, Florida.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of fifty-three years, Mrs. Nancy Ann (Gaccione) Cosenza; a son, Albert Cosenza and his wife Mary of Paxton; two daughters, Joanne Cosenza and Christine Cosenza both of Florida; a brother, Raymond Cosenza of Worcester; three sisters, Helen Browne of Florida, Yolanda Boucher of Worcester, and Mary Brewer of Grafton; and one grandchild, Grace Catherine Cosenza.
Born September 20, 1926 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late Peter and Christine(Fuscaldo) Cosenza.
A resident of Worcester most of his life, he was educated through the Worcester schools. He moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in 1981.
Albert served his country in the Navy during World War II. Upon his return he was a truck driver for over thirty years, most recently employed at M & M Trucking up until his retirement in 1976.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Loreto Parish. For over twenty years , Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as the chairman for the Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll drive to benefit the developmentally disabled children, and helping to run the Bingo nights for the Knights . Most recently he helped to run the Bingo nights for his condominium complex in Florida where he and his wife Nancy reside.
His funeral will be held Monday November 10th from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Funeral Mass at 11a.m. at Our Lady of Loreto of Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2pm to 6pm. The Knights of Columbus will do there ritual at 5PM. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Louis M. Fazio Jr. and Louis M.
