Obituary

Eileen F. (Domingos) Cebula, age 66, of Fairhaven, died September 12, 2008 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
She was the wife of Henry S. Cebula who later died on September 26, 2008.
Born and raised in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Henrietta (Sypek) Domingos, she was a longtime resident of Fairhaven.
She was a dearly loved grandmother who found tremendous joy in her grandchildren. Her family will remember her for her gentle spirit, sincerity, generosity, and kindness, as well as her ability to find joy in life’s simple pleasures.
Survivors include her husband; 3 sons, Matthew Cebula and his wife Ellen of Dartmouth, Aaron Cebula and his wife Christine of Fairhaven, and Luke Cebula of Boston; daughter, Andrea Cebula of New York; sister Kathleen Springer of Little Compton, RI; 6 grandchildren, Caleb, Owen, Wyatt, Hadley, Ainsley, and one beloved grandchild on the way; many dearly loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Joanne Parker.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Road, Route 6, Mattapoisett Wednesday, October 1st at 8:45 AM. The Funeral Mass for Henry and Eileen Cebula will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church, New Bedford at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visiting hours for Mr. and Mrs. Cebula will be on Tuesday, September 30th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, rememberences may be made to the Matty Oliveira Memorial Fund, c/o Loel Botelho, 15 Holiday Drive, Fairhaven, MA 02719 or the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
