Mr. Daniel Patrick Michael “Dan the Man” Donovan, long time resident of Andover and Lawrence, died at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Monday, September 1, 2008. He was 49 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Daniel and Jeanette M. (Comeau) Donovan. Mr. Donovan will be sorely missed by the many people he has met over the years in his extensive travel.
He was the loving brother of Elaine Donovan of Lawrence and Patricia and Eileen Donovan both of Webster. Dan was also the uncle of Cheryl Ferguson of Chelmsford and Emma and Eleanor Donnelly, both of North Andover and Mark Brouillard of Chelmsford and several aunts and uncles. He was the brother of the late Karen Coldwell.
Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Thursday, September 4, 2008, from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. A graveside service will be held in St. Augustine Cemetery, on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 10AM.
