Mrs. Beverly A. (Chappron) Mulhern, of Taunton died Wednesday, August 20 in
Morton Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Mulhern. She was born 75 years ago in Methuen, the daughter of the late John J. and
Dora F. (Dion) Chappron, and had been a city resident for most of her life. She was
educated in Taunton, having graduated from Taunton High School, and had also
attended the Kinyon-Campbell Business School. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Mulhern
had been employed as a social worker for the Commonwealth of Mass. Department of
Public Welfare in Taunton for 20 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting Foxwoods,
reading and, especially, spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the
former Immaculate Conception Church.

Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street,
on Monday, August 25 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude
the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to the Joslin Diabetes
