Patricia (Connelly) Hurteau of Groton, CT passed away July 19, 2008 with her family by her side.
Patricia was born April 2, 1934 to Andrew and Catherine (Browne) Connelly in New York, NY where she lived until she married Robert and had 3 children.
She spent many years in the nursing field helping the elderly. Patricia was active in her community. She enjoyed her role as the President of the Groton Senior Center and was proud of her work there. What made her happiest in life was her loving family and friends.
Patricia was truly a loving person who saw the best in all those around her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hurteau. Patricia is survived and will be dearly missed by her 3 children and their families; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sue Hurteau; Daughter and son-in-law Donna and William Lee; Daughter Linda Hurteau; four grandchildren Michelle and husband Hans Neff, Jessica and husband Eric Yelsits, David Hurteau Jr., Devon Hurteau, and 2 great grandchildren Samuel and Benjamin Neff. She is also survived by her sister Ursula Harrison and nephews Donald, Andrew, and Michael Harrison, as well as many loving friends.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 11:00am at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic.
