Mary Jane (Marciante) Cirino

CIRINO- Mary Jane (Marciante) Cirino died on Monday July 14, at her home after a battle with cancer. She was married 60 years this August 15 to Salvatore S. Cirino.
Mary was born in Boston on August 16, 1928 the youngest of four children to the late Vincenzo and Maria (DiMatteo) Marciante. She was raised in Boston and graduated from the Don Bosco Vocational School in the south end of Boston. She worked in sales at many retail stores. She was skilled at sewing and made childrens cloths. Mary volunteered her time at the Jesuit Seminary Guild in Boston as a record clerk. She retired as a clerk from Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Cooking for her family was a great enjoyment for her. She taught herself how to bake and was considered a first class baker/ hostess. She also enjoyed dancing with her husband.
Besides her husband, Mary Jane is survived by three children, Greg and his wife Patricia (Eller) Cirino of Wyndham, NH, Jeffrey and his wife Eileen (Glynn) Cirino of Medford, MA; and Jane Barry of Beverly, MA; four grandchildren, Allison Chisholm and her husband Robby, Melissa Cirino, Jessica Lynn Barry, Richard Aron Barry; a great granddaughter, Pheobe Chisholm; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary is also the sister of the late Frank Marciante, Anna Giacobbe and Carmella Pirone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m. in St. William's Church, 1351 Main St. (Rte 38) Tewksbury. Followed by her burial at St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, will be appreciated.
