Obituary

WORCESTER: Lisa D. Stanton, age 28, a recent Worcester resident, formerly of Groton, died unexpectedly at home on July 2nd.
Born in Lawrence on April 5, 1980, she was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth M. (Teixeira) Stanton of Arlington and Ronald J. Stanton and his wife Kristen of Lunenburg.
Lisa was raised in Groton, where she attended the Country Day School. In 1999, she was graduated from the Bishop Guertin High School of Nashua, NH. Following graduation, she attended the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
Lisa resided in Groton until moving to Worcester in 2005.
She was employed for the past 5 years as a cost analyst by the Welch’s Company in Concord.
According to her family, she enjoyed a passion for the arts and had performed with the Concord Players Theater Group. In addition, she loved to sing, listen to music and read literature.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Keith Stanton of Plattsburgh, NY, Joshua R. and Matthew R. Stanton both of Lunenburg; her maternal grandmother, Rose G. Teixeira of Tewksbury; her biological father, Jeffrey Kidwell of FL; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, Eli Whitney and friends.
Lisa was the maternal granddaughter of the late Walter Teixeira and paternal granddaughter of the late Josephine M. and George A. Stanton.
Calling hours Tuesday, July 8th, 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Wednesday, July 9th, at 9:30 a.m., from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Catholic Charities, 599 Canal St., Loawrence, MA 01840 or Wide Horizons for Children-Guatemala Sponsorships, 38 Edge Hill Rd., Waltham, MA 02451 are suggested.
