Tiffanie M. Walker, 23, of Fairhaven died unexpectedly April 5, 2008 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Providence, the daughter of Jesse B. Walker, Jr. of Fairhaven and Jacqueline (Strait) Barboza of East Providence, she lived in East Providence before moving to Fairhaven at the age of 12.
Tiffanie was employed as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at Hathaway Manor Nursing Home and had previously worked at Alden Court Nursing Home and Whaler's Cove.
She was a 2003 graduate of Fairhaven High School where she played softball, basketball and was a cheerleader.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Jesse B. Walker, III of New Bedford; 2 sisters, Arianne L. Walker of New Bedford and Rayna S. Barboza of East Providence; a step-brother, Chad Medeiros of New Bedford; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was the step-daughter of the late John Barboza and the granddaughter of the late Cecelia I. DeLuze, Ulysses Sutton, Alice M. Tolentino and Jesse B. Walker, Sr.
Her Home Going Service will be held on Friday, April 11th at 9 AM in the United House of Prayer For All People, 416 Kempton St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday, April 10th from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
