Ross Edward Lucke
88, of Needham, and Naples, FL, a lifelong resident of Toledo, OH, died Friday, February 1, 2008. Mr. Lucke was born March 16, 1919 in Carleton, MI to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph A. Lucke (Esther Lamb). He was a 1941 Bard College graduate, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He married Betty Slee Harrison on June 5, 1954. He worked for the Charles Dowd Advertising Agency and was a member of the Rotary Club of Toledo. After his retirement, he and Betty split their time between Toledo and Naples. Betty passed away on July 26, 1991. Ross is survived by his son, Daniel R. Lucke of Bonita Springs, FL; his daughters, Elizabeth Henke of Big Bear, CA and Susan Jarvis of Needham; son-in-law, Clark Jarvis of Needham, and daughter-in-law, Betsy Lucke of Bonita Springs, FL; granddaughters, Erica Wilson, Margaret Jarvis and Sarah Jarvis and great granddaughters Kyra and Athena Wilson. Friends will be received at the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg, OH, from 6-9 PM on Thursday. Feb. 7. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Perrysburg, OH on Friday, Feb. 8, at 10 AM followed by a Committal Service at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1502 W. Central Ave., Toledo, OH.
