Claudia Motta, age 100, passed away Jan. 26, 2008. Widow of Antone Motta Jr. Daughter of the late James & Geraldine Freitas. She was a Fall River resident since 1914, a retired laundry worker, cook & housekeeper, a member of the Melody Club & of St. Michael Church.
She is survived by 2 children: Anthony Motta & Lillian Michel both of Tiverton; 1 brother: James Freitas of OR; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter & several nieces and nephews. Sister of the late John, Joseph & Manuel Freitas.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Tuesday at 10 A.M. with a Mass of Christian burial in St. Michael Church at 11 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 4-8 P.M. Flowers are welcome or donations to Hospice & Palliative Care.
