Joseph V. Salemi passed away suddenly on December 29, 2007. He was 55 years old.
Born in Columbus, OH, Joseph grew up in Billerica and was a longtime resident of Middleborough. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and was a successful business owner since 1979 of Back Bay News Distributers in Boston. Joseph loved vacationing in St. Martin and Prince Edward Island with his family.
Joseph was the devoted husband of Nadia (Razionale) Salemi and the son of Anna Zima and her husband Robert and the late Angelo Salemi. He was the beloved father of Alicia R. Salemi and Joseph S. Salemi both of Middleborough and the dear brother of Michael Salemi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 340 Centre Street, Middleborough on Saturday, January 5th at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday, January 4th from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
