Byron P. Humphrey, lovingly known as "Bear" was born on November 3, 1977 to John and Gloria Humphrey. He confessed Christ and was baptized at Liberty P.B. Church, Reverend Johnny Jones.
He was educated in the Madison County School System. "Bear" loved life and family and today he is smiling because his greatest joy was to have "The Family" together. He loved unselfishly and shared his good cheer with all.
On Tuesday, December 18, 2007, God touched Byron with his finger of love and called his angel home. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jo Ethel Moore Wilson and brother Justus S. Humphrey. He leaves to cherish his loving memories a sonm LaBryon L. Humphrey, Rockford IL; daughters: Jazmyne J. Hines and Tamiyah K. Funeral services for Mr. Byron P. Humphrey will be held Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Liberty Primitive Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Jones Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery.
