GLOUCESTER: Daniel E. Patrican, 70, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at his home. He was the husband of Janice E. (Harvey) Patrican.
Born in Gloucester on December 27, 1936, he was the son of the late Daniel and Gladys (Clooney) Patrican. He was a lifelong resident of Gloucester.
Daniel was employed for several years at Wilbur Tracey Associates in Gloucester before retiring six years ago. He had also once worked for many years at the former Creese & Cooke Leather Co. in Danvers.
In addition to his wife of forty-seven years, he is survived by four daughters and a son-in-law, Danielle Frazier of Gloucester, Janice Hughes of Taunton, Lisa and David Tupman of Gloucester and Kim Patrican of Gloucester, two sons, James Patrican and Jason Patrican both of Gloucester, eleven grandchildren, Kristen, Kelly and Kevin Frazier, Jennifer, Laurie and Rusty Amero, Maggie and David Tupman, Cameron Miles, James Patrican and Justine Patrican, a great-grandson, Trenton Oliver, a sister, Marcia and her husband, Sonny Dzielnik of Peabody, a sister-in-law, Barbara and her husband, Chester Beatrice of Rowley, a brother-in-law, Thomas and his wife, Margaret Harvey of Gloucester and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by three brothers, Peter, Louis and Michael Patrican.
His funeral services will be held on Friday in the Wesleyan Cemetery, Gloucester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the VNA Care Hospice, 5 Federal St., Danvers, MA 01923.
