Bradford D. Brown, 57, of Roanoke Rapids, NC died 10/11/07 at Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids. He was the husband of M. Kathy (Newton) Brown.
Born in Providence, son of the late Theodore and Dorothy M. (Judd) Brown. He lived in Newport before moving to North Carolina in 2000.
Mr. Brown was a retired electrician and a veteran of the US Marine Corp, serving during the Vietnam War. A lifetime member of AMVETS, he was commander of AMVETS Post 101 and a Mason belonging to the Widows Son Lodge #519 in Roanoke Rapids.
Also survived by his daughters, Meghan Brown Smith and her husband, Joseph of Hephzibah, Ga.; Ceilidhe and Elyse Brown both of Roanoke Rapids; three grandchildren, Aine Marie, Asa Tristan and Milla Smith; his sister, Rhonda Brown Kehoe of Chepachet. He was predeceased by siblings, Glenn and Craig Brown, Marian Crossley and nephew and godchild, Graham Kehoe.
Memorial service was held on October 16, 2007 at the Chapel of Massey Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids. Scattering of his ashes at Jamestown will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to AMVETS Post 101, 1710 West Tenth Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC 22787.
