Dorothy M. (Simonds) Perdigao, 74, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died Friday, October 5, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Perdigao. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton Schools. Mrs. Perdigao worked as a deburrer for Stoughton Tool & Die for over 30 years, retiring in 2006. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Deborah A. Bosse and her husband Robert, Jeffrey E. and his wife Michelle and Edward R. and his wife Sybil all of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Kelly Spencer and her husband James, Tracy Baker and her husband Curtis, Kristy Bosse, Greg, Brittany, Kristen and Jennifer Perdigao and Joseph Nicholas and Stephanie Fantony. She was the sister of Marlene Giammarco of Stoughton, Frankie Ann Reilly and her husband David of Raynham, Frank Simonds Jr. and his wife Deborah of Avon and the late Robert Simonds and Priscilla Clark. She is also survived by her great grandson Jake Spencer and many nieces, nephews and inlaws.
Funeral Prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 11 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
