Myrtle "Jerry" (Stults) Krol, a 66 year resident of Charlestown, died on Thursday October 4, 2007 at East Point Nursing Home in Chelsea after an extended illness. She was 91 years old.
Jerry was born in Maine in 1915. She grew up there and attended all of her schooling there. Jerry moved to Charlestown in 1941. She has been a homemaker most of her adult life taking care of her family.
Jery is the beloved wife of the late Joseph W. Krol. She is the devoted mother of Joseph W. Krol Jr. and his wife Mary of Chelsea and Robert D. Krol and his wife Joanne of Charlestown. She is the loving grandmother of Joseph W. Krol lll of Watertown, Victoria Krol and her fiance Joe Brienze, Erin Krol, Robert D. Krol Jr. and Kaitrin Krol all of Charlestown and Jennifer Krol of Chelsea. She is the great-grandmother of Rebecca and Joseph. She is the beloved sister of Roland Stults of Florida and Beverly McCarthy of Maine.
Jerry's Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Jerry will be held on Friday, October 5, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
