Nicholas J. Montuori Jr., 56, of East Bridgewater,formerly of Quincy, died Saturday morning at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston after a period of failing health. He was the husband of Christine (Johnston) Montuori for 28 years. Born in Quincy on July 7, 1951, the son of Mary(Caporale)Montuori of Quincy and the late Nicholas Montuori Sr., he was raised in Quincy and was a 1969 graduate of BC High School. He continued his education at Bridgewater State College earning a
bachelor’s degree in teaching. A resident of East Bridgewater for the past 15 years,he was employed by the Brockton Post Office for 18 years as a mail processor. An avid bowler and sports enthusiast of the Patriots and Red Sox,he enjoyed traveling, gardening and trips to foxwoods.In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two children, Nicholas Montuori of East Bridgewaterand Amanda Leigh Montuori of East Bridgewater; a sister, Maryellen Silliker of Saco, Maine and many nieces and nephews.
