Beatrice M. (Tremblay) Laycock, 77, of Salem, NH died Thursday Sept. 6th at Salemhaven Nursing Home in Salem, NH. She had been a resident of Salem for 46 years.
Beatrice was born and educated in Lawrence, MA, graduating from Lawrence High School then from McIntosh Business School. Beatrice played the violin and piano and played with the Boston Jr. Symphony. She also enjoyed singing, dancing and traveling. Beatrice was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem.
Beatrice enjoyed politics and was a two term State Representative and Supervisor of the Checklist. She was a campaign chairman for many politicians including Jimmy Carter.

8 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews

A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
