Irene C. (Messier) Pion, 84, of Manchester died August 11, 2007 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a long illness.
Born in Auburn, ME on June 28, 1923, she was the daughter of Bill and Laura (Faucher) Messier. She has lived in the Manchester area since 1957.
She was married to Harry R. Pion who died in 2000.
IN HER LIFE: The family includes four children, Laura Marcille of Modesto, CA, Francis Pion of Hollywood, FL, Michelle Skeffington of Bedford and Marc Pion of Manchester; four grandchildren, Matthew Marcille, Stephanie Vicini, Christopher Marcille and Anthony Pion; three great grandchildren, Ethan Vicini, Ashlyn Vicini and Kiera Marcille; a sister, Sr. Gabrielle Messier, PM of Plaistow; an aunt who helped raise Irene, Yvonne Messier of Greensboro Bend, VT and cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Philip Messier.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday August 15, 2007 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
