Obituary

Donald H. Brinkman, 79, of Lillian Alabama and formerly of Medway died peacefully June 23 in Pensacola, Florida following a long illness.
He was the husband of Jeanne (Douglas) Brinkman for the past 59 years.
Born in Milford September 12, 1927, the son of the late Howard and Mildred (Legee) Brinkman, Mr. Brinkman had lived in Medway all his life prior to moving to Alabama in 1999.
Mr. Brinkman had worked for the Pneumatic Scale Company in Quincy, the Dennison Corporation, the Polaroid Corporation and 3-C Electric Company in Ashland.
Mr. Brinkman had served on the Medway Fire Department for 13 years.
After his retirement, he and Jeanne moved south where he enjoyed his hobbies of fishing and boating in the Gulf of Mexico.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Donald and Kenneth Brinkman of Medway, daughters, Linda Stonionis of Falmouth, Shirley Kochansky of Wells, Maine and Valerie Bauser of Glasgow, Kentucky. He was the father of the late Paul Brinkman.
He is also survived by his sister, Lois Brundage of Wareham and was the brother of the late Joyce Pike.
He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30 in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
