DRACUT – Carol E. (Morasse) McLaughlin, 59, of Dracut, died Wednesday January 10th at her home. She was the wife of James V. McLaughlin, to whom she was married for 23 years.
Born in Methuen on April 21, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Aline (Fortier) Morasse. She was educated in Dracut school and graduated from Dracut High School in 1965. She was a loyal employee of Joan Fabrics in Lowell for over twenty years.
In her free time, Mrs. McLaughlin enjoyed dining, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially with her grandsons.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a two sons Robert Lessard, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Dracut and Daniel Lessard of Dracut, three brothers Emile Morasse and his wife Ethel of Dracut, Raymond Morasse and his wife Wendy of Jamul, CA, and Alfred Morasse and his wife Pat of Lowell, three sisters Jeannette Coburn and her husband Bruce of Salem, NH, Marie Falcon and her husband Joe of Dracut, and Aline Judd and her husband George of Lowell, a sister-in-law Barbara Lessard of Windham, NH, and two grandsons Daniel and Lincoln Lessard.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Friday from 4 until 8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10AM. Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
