DRACUT - Wanda (Adamczyk) Hudzik, 87, a lifelong resident of Dracut, died Tuesday December 12th at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Julian M. Hudzik, who died in 1984.
She was born in Dracut on July 26, 1919, and was a daughter of the late Marcin and Maryanna (Winogradska) Adamczyk. She received her education in the Dracut school system.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Hudzik was employed as a spinner by various mills in Lowell and Dracut.
In her free time she enjoyed gardening.
She was a communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Dracut.
She is survived by two sons, Julian "Mike" Hudzik and his wife Maureen, and John Hudzik and his wife Wendy Marshall - Hudzik, all of Dracut; a daughter Helen Cote and her husband Robert, of Dracut; seven grandchildren, Tricia Vinal and her husband Dan, Michael Hudzik and his wife Amy, Steven Hudzik and his wife Katie, Julie Hudzik, Laurie Archambault and her husband Jason, Robert Cote Jr., and David Cote, all of Dracut; ten great grandchildren, Danny Vinal, Courtney Vinal, Sadie Hudzik, Teagan Hudzik, Hunter Hudzik, Chloe Hudzik, Macy Hudzik, Maggie Hudzik, Madelyn Archambault, and Alyson Archambault; a step great grandson Taylor Gendron; two sisters Marion Horman and her husband Raymond, and Helen Kleczkowski, all of Dracut; two sisters-in-law Irene Adamczyk of Dracut and Josephine Kucek of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late George Adamczyk, Stanislaw Adamczyk, and Henry Adamczyk.
HUDZIK - Dec. 12, Wanda (Adamczyk) Hudzik, 87, of Dracut, wife of the late Julian M. Hudzik. Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 4 until 8PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday at 8AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9AM at Ste. Marguerite Parish, Dracut. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lowell.
