Bobby Nguyen, 53, of Philadelphia, PA died Saturday, October 31st in Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience. He leaves his mother, Mot Nguyen of Worcester; his brother, Hung Nguyen and his wife, Yen Du of Worcester; two sisters, Judy Nguyen and her husband, Robert of Worcester and Vuanh Nguyen and her husband, Jay Jiang of Revere; and four nephews.
Bobby was born in Vietnam the son of Thanh Nguyen and immigrated to the United States in 1989. He worked for many years as a nail technician at California Nails in Leominster before relocating to Philadelphia, where he continued his career at LDT Nails and Spa.
Bobby had a fun-loving personality and a passion for music and dancing. He especially enjoyed singing karaoke, sharing laughter, and making wonderful memories with those around him. He loved traveling, particularly his trips back to Vietnam, where he enjoyed reconnecting with his roots and spending time with loved ones.
Above all, Bobby cherished his family and friends. He enjoyed being surrounded by the people he loved, whether celebrating a special occasion or simply spending time together. His joyful spirit, love of life, and the happiness he brought to others will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
His calling hours are Sunday, November 8th from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. His funeral will be on Monday, November 9th beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester.
