James C. Melendy, age 63, of Ellicott City, Maryland, a former longtime resident of Norton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2026 at the John Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, Maryland. He was the beloved husband of Karen M. (Waible) Melendy.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, November 8th from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp Street (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
His funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Saint Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
