Monica A. (Grant) McCra, 92, of Pawtucket, peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026. She was the wife of Donald J. McCra, to whom she shared 65 fabulous years of marriage.
Monica was born on April 5, 1934 to the late Raymond and Monica (Schickling) Grant. She grew up in Oswego, NY before to moving to Pawtucket, RI, where she spent most of her adult life. Prior to retirement, she worked in marketing and advertising for Brooks Maxi Douglas, Warwick for 22 years.
Monica will forever be remembered for her love of family, books, and flowers. She had the remarkable gift of finding joy in even the smallest of things, and always had a song to sing (or sassy comment to make).
In addition to her husband, Monica is survived by her 2 children: Donald J. McCra of Pawtucket and Lesley A. Wood and her husband Peter of Tiverton; 4 grandchildren: Ashley McGee and her husband Daniel, Megan Wood, Lauren Wood and Joshua Wood; along with nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Raymond Grant.
