Claire Marie (Venne) Lewis, 63, died October 21, 2026 at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia, NH, after a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester, NH, on February 7, 1963, the daughter of Louis and Laura (Turgeon) Venne.
Claire was a resident of Manchester for many years then moved to Franklin. She attended local schools and graduated from Memorial High School in 1981.
She had worked for Papa Gino's and most recently for Manchester Motor Freight.
Family members include her husband, William F. Lewis, III, of 22 years, one son, William F. Lewis IV, daughter, Daryll Lewis, three sisters, Janet McAndrew of Hooksett, Collette Hamel and Denise Venne, both of Manchester, two brothers, Alfred Venne who passed December 1, 2007 and Roger Venne of Manchester, several nephews, once niece, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside committal service will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 11 am in St. Augustin Cemetery, Section, New East.
