Obituary

WESTBROOK- Michelle Lee Spiller, age 57, of Westbrook, Maine, after navigating the challenges of dementia, passed away at home on October 22, 2026, surrounded by her husband and her children that she loved so deeply.
Born in Hayward, California, on May 5, 1969, the daughter of Jeannette Warren and father, Guy Gagne. Michelle lived a life defined by her warmth, kindness, and open heart. She had a unique gift for connection and was known for chatting with anyone who wanted to talk, turning strangers into friends and making everyone feel truly important and loved. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she found immense joy in cooking beautiful meals and delicious desserts for her family.
Above all, Michelle’s greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her middle school sweetheart and beloved husband, Al "Bubba" Spiller. Together, they shared countless adventures, enjoyed concerts, and most of all, finding peace and joy in the beauty of nature while camping and exploring the northern woods of Maine.
Michelle’s legacy of love lives on through her large and beautiful family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Al "Bubba" Spiller; her father, Guy Gagne; her children, son Steven Moreau of Westbrook, daughter Ciarra and son-in-law Josh Chase of Naples, daughter Shania McCrillis and partner Brandon Wood of Casco; son Jason and daughter-in-law Taylor Spiller of Standish, and son Jake Spiller. Brother, Rick, sisters, Pam, Maryann, and Kelly, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was a deeply loved “meme” to her six grandchildren that lit up her world: Peytan, Olivia, Dominic, Cole, Lucy, and Levi.
Michelle is predeceased by her mother, Jeannette Warren and grandmother, Mary Ann Blanchet.
