Bedford, NH – Claire Bernadette (Allain) Neumire, 87, found eternal rest with her Lord Jesus on October 15, 2026, following a lengthy illness.
Claire was born on July 14, 1939 in Manchester, NH to Arthur and Cecile (Chapdelaine) Allain. She attended and graduated from The Villa Augustina in Goffstown, NH and St. Anthony High School in Manchester, NH.
Her Catholic faith and devotion led her to the religious order of the Sisters of the Holy Cross. After some time in the Novitiate Program, she decided that this vocation was not her calling. She was then employed by NH Insurance Company in Manchester, NH
Claire married and became a wonderful loving mother raising 5 children while staying at home. She also enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, and gatherings with family and friends.
Later in life Claire attended electrology school along with her sister Madeleine and opened Bedford Electrology in 1988. The business operated until their joint retirement in 2012. She was also a volunteer Assistant Tour Guide with ACA/Bon Voyage Travel, where she traveled the US and internationally – something she truly enjoyed.
Left to cherish her memory are her 5 children: Lisa Marie (Stanko) Maille & Russell (Canterbury, NH), Sheila Seidel & Duane (Conway, SC), Christine (Pilotte) Barbosa (Tiverton, RI), Keith Neumire & Coreena (Candia, NH) and Cheryl Guido (Bedford, NH) and 12 Grandchildren – Jordan Alexandra, Joshua & Jacob Stanko, Brianna & Colton Seidel, Davis & Lauren Pilotte, Rebekah, Amanda, Tabitha & Elizabeth Neumire and Angelina Guido as well as 6 Great-Grandchildren.
She is also survived by her beloved siblings: Madeleine O’Neil (The Villages FL) and Arthur J. Allain (Lauderhill, FL) as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
