Paul W. Langlois, 86, of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn A. Langlois for 65 years.
Mr. Langlois was born in New Bedford, son of the late Adelard and Loretta (LeGault) Langlois. He is survived by his wife Carolyn A. Langlois and his Son David C. Langlois of Hanson, MA, along with two grandchildren Chelsea L. Wallace and Gabriel E. Wallace of Mesa, AZ. Paul served his country with honor in the U.S. Army, completing his service with the Massachusetts Army National Guard. Prior to retirement, he was a realtor for over 50 years and was the owner/operator of Townehouse Realty with office locations in Dartmouth and Somerset, MA. Paul served as President for both the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce, and the New Bedford Realtor's Association. Paul was a 32nd degree Mason, and a Shriner member of the Shrine Club of Southeastern Massachusetts. Paul was very active in his community and served on many committees during his lifetime. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and enjoyed tending to his garden. Mr. Langlois loved his family and will be remembered for his dedication to them.
Survivors along with his wife include his son: David C. Langlois & Amy Mullett of Hanson, MA; his sister: Claire Langlois of CO; and his 2 grandchildren: Chelsea Lynn Wallace and Gabriel Ethan Wallace, both of AZ. Paul leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Deborah Langlois-Wallace and Michael P. Langlois as well as his siblings, his brother, the late Phillip Langlois, and late sisters Rachel Havrilla and Lorraine Langlois.
A Celebration of Paul’s life service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, November 7th, 2026, at Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport, MA 02790 at 10:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00-10:00 A.M. prior to the service.
Interment to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
