Martin Barerra, Sr., 98, of Tifton passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Barerra's family will accept friends and guests at 171 Flat Ford Road East, Tifton, Georgia 31793.
Mr. Barerra was born on December 6, 1927, in Gonzales, Texas, to the late Hermelinda Martinez Barrera and Leandro Barerra. Mr. Barerra was also preceded in death by his beloved wife; Belia Garza Barerra, one son; Rene Barerra, and one daughter; Dora Barerra Robles.
Left to cherish Mr. Barerra's memory are his children, daughters; Noemi Barerra (Ramon Claudio), Annie Cox, and Melva Barerra, all of Tifton, and one son; Martin Barrera, Jr., of Arizona.
