He was preceded in death by his parents, Normand and Ella Martin, his dear companion Nancy Miacco, his infant grandson Michael Curtis, his son-in-law David Smallman and many close friends from the Oxford and Cape Cod area; and, Bob left loving caregivers from his LTC home at Webster Manor. They were family and friends combined for the last 12+ years of his long, well-enjoyed, life.

Bob served in the United States Army National Guard and Reserves from 1964 to 1966.

He was a machinist for many years including at ABCO in Hyannis and retiring in 2010.

He enjoyed being outdoors, doing yard work and completing any kind of project. He loved playing horseshoes and poker and would even kayak from Hyannis to Martha’s Vineyard and back all in one day. Bob was a sports fan but favored the New England Patriots, Bruins, Celtics and Red Sox. As a youth, baseball was the sport he loved to play the most. More than anything, Bob was happiest with his family and friends and was proud of all of us, whatever our role.
