WEBSTER – Mary Anne (Barrett) Anderson, 86, died on Friday, October 2, 2026, in the presence of her family. Her husband of 38 years, Ralph H. Anderson, Jr., died in 1998.
She leaves her children, Lynn M. and John Skavis of Shrewsbury, Ralph H. Anderson, Jr. of Thompson, CT, Kimberly and Edward Bruegger of Webster, and Colleen and Jason Lavallee of North Grosvenordale, CT; 14 grandchildren, Shannon, Timothy and Cassie, Ryan, Devyn and Ryan, Dallas and Connor, Dylan, Lauria, Payton and Ryan, Madison and Quentin, Evan and Kristina, Kyle, Joey and Natalie, Haley, Ty; 17 great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Charles F. Barrett III and James Barrett.
She was born in Worcester on February 4, 1940, a daughter of Charles F. Barrett, Jr. and Verne S. (Bridgham) Barrett and graduated from Commerce High School in 1958. She lived in Worcester for over forty years before moving to Webster in the early 1980’s.
Mary Anne was first and foremost a homemaker. Her family was the center of her life. She also loved dancing and was an instructor at Reggie Walley’s Dance Studio in Worcester for many years. She loved all music, especially jazz.
Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
