Christopher Walter Felletter, called Jake by his immediate family, was born August 2, 1960, in El Paso Texas. He passed away October 3rd, 2026, at Baystate Medical Center. Chris lived in Manchester CT, South Windsor, CT and West Springfield, MA before moving to Chicopee, MA. Chris was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, and he achieved Eagle Scout status through Troop 25. He was a volunteer firefighter with his father Frank at the Manchester Fire Department. Chris graduated from Manchester High School in 1979 and went on to DeVry Technical School in New Jersey to get his certificate in Electronic Engineering in 1981. Chris was a drag racer for 5 years at Lebanon Valley. He was a life member of the NRA and was a range instructor and enjoyed shooting through competitions as well as recreationally. He was a life member of the Springfield Thunderbirds Booster Club and served as a former President of the club. He was a longtime season ticket holder as well. He loved to play hockey in various recreational leagues in CT and MA. Chris was the son of Frank and Patricia (Sutkus)Felletter, both of whom are deceased. He left behind two sisters, Robin Merrill (John) and Wendy (Susan Wells). Chris was married to Sheila (Singley) for 27 years. He leaves behind his precious children, Jason and JamieLynn Felletter as well. Services will be held on October 16, 2026, at Grise Funeral Home at 280 Springfield St in Chicopee. Calling hours will be from 11:30-1:00 and will include a short service.
