Linda Gail Thompson, 70, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A visitation will be held for Ms. Thompson on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Ms. Thompson will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born August 23, 1956, in Vidalia, Ms. Thompson was the daughter of the late Earl Thomas Thompson and Eunice Clark Mathis. She graduated from Fitzgerald High School, where she was a member of the marching band. Currently, she was an associate at Walmart in Tifton; and she was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Fitzgerald. Ms. Thompson dearly loved her mother and her grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish Ms. Thompson’s memory are two daughters, Anna Thompson and Dana Thompson and her fiancé, Brandon Clark, all of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Dana Mathis of Fitzgerald; two sisters, Brenda Sue Justice of Fitzgerald and Thelma Mathis of Crisp County; four grandchildren, Kaden Hagy, Nickolas Thompson, Alayna Futch and Logan Cotoni; and one great-grandson, Colsen Kennedy.
