Ciera M. Rios, 28, passed away on September 24, 2026. She was born on September 1, 1998, in Springfield.
Ciera was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth and love to the lives of those around her. She worked as a home health aide and held various other jobs throughout her life.
Above all, Ciera cherished the time she spent with her daughter, Soliemar. She loved taking her to the park, making memories together, and simply being by her side. Ciera also treasured the time she spent surrounded by her family and friends. Her laughter, her love, and the memories she created with those closest to her will remain in their hearts forever.
Ciera is survived by her beloved daughter, Soliemar Nylah Ayala Rios of Springfield; her parents, Peter Rios and Theresa Colon of Chicopee; her twin sister, Celina Rios of Chicopee; and her four brothers, Stephen Lugo of Chicopee, Sergio Azahares of Springfield, Thomas Rios of Westfield and Teddy Rios of Westfield. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Though her time with us was far too short, Ciera leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a love that will continue to live on through her daughter, her family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Visitation will be held from 8:30–10:00 AM at Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St., Chicopee, followed by an in-house prayer service at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
