Huy Xuan Nguyen, 74, of Worcester died Monday, September 28th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. He leaves his wife of 33 years, Hoa Thi Luu; and his children, Luuna Nguyen of Worcester, Ben Nguyen of Texas.
He was born in Da Nang, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1998. Huy enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and especially loved music and sports. He had a passion for playing the guitar and enjoyed singing karaoke with friends, creating many fun and memorable moments along the way. He was also an avid sports fan and could often be found watching a game, with soccer being his favorite. Above all, Huy treasured the time he spent with his family and friends and the memories they created together.
His visitation is Thursday, October 1st from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. His funeral service will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home followed by cremation at 9:30 a.m. in Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester, MA.
