Laura J. Paul (92) of Brockton passed away peacefully at home under hospice care on September 27, 2026. She was the loving wife of David Paul.
Laura was born in Haiti, the daughter of the late Albert Jules and Ismenie Pierre. While living in her home country of Haiti, she worked as a farmer. Laura was a woman of faith and a devoted member of the Brockton Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
In addition to her loving husband, David, Laura is survived by her six sons, Liautaud Paul, Isaac Paul, Emile Paul, Marcous Paul, Lelio Paul, and Alberto Paul; three daughters, Lauretta P. Cesard, Ruthe St. Pierre, and Liz Phanoid; three brothers, Orius Jules, Innoant Jules, and Richedieu Jules; two sisters, Orianie Dufault and Geramene Jean; more than 30 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street, Brockton, on Thursday, October 8th, from 7:00–9:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at Brockton Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 235 Court Street, Brockton, on Friday, October 9th at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl Street, Brockton.
