Michael John Watson, 51, of Tifton, passed away at his residence on September 21st, 2026. Friends and family can pay their respects in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Born September 8, 1975, to Mickey J. Watson and the late Frances Powell Watson in Albany, Michael attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. He served as the owner and operator of Watson’s Lawn Care (2007-2024) and as a loving father and husband. He was a gifted landscaper and devoted Christian. He loved his animals, college football, computer games, and most importantly, his family. He was a member of Tifton’s First Methodist Church.
Michael is survived by his wife, Tammie Salter Watson of Tifton; daughter and stepdaughter, Isabella Watson of Tifton and Christina Williamson of Fitzgerald; his grandchildren, Dallas Williamson and Avery Williamson; his father and stepmother, Mickey J. and Vickie Watson of Tifton; and his sister, Amy Riggins of Tifton.
