SPRINGVALE- Faye Marie Dyer of Springvale, Me passed away after brief illness on Sept. 18, 2026, with her family by her side. Born on Nov. 11, 1958, in Portland, Me to Edgar (Teddy) & Madeleine (Rita Guimond) Dyer.
Faye was a 1978 graduate of Gorham High School. Faye enjoyed family time. Especially the Fish Fry at her dad’s house. She was an avid reader, making puzzles-there was always one on the table. She enjoyed cheating at cards and winning.
Faye took great pride when she took on the role of caring for her mother. Most of all family was everything to her. Each niece and nephew had a special in her heart. Faye’s laugh had a way of filling the room with life, warmth and joy. Loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by a brother, Richard Dyer and his wife Juli of Standish, sisters: Deborah Dyer of Standish, Brenda Nealey of Gorham, Lori Dyer of Gorham, April Wright (Jeff) of Windham. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
A graveside burial will be held on October 12,2026 at Chase Cemetery in Windham followed by a Celebration of Life at 650 Bonny Eagle Rd, Standish.
