Thomas D. DeFeudis, 57, beloved father, husband, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17th at UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester. He leaves his loving daughter, Danielle DeFeudis; his wife Eva T. (Debreczeni) DeFeudis; his step-sons Nicholas and Alex Kondor; his parents Thomas and Linda DeFeudis; his brother Tony DeFeudis and his wife, Amy; his niece Nicole; his nephew Matthew; his close friends Frank and Sharon Iaquinta; his Masonic brotherhood; and his dog, Molly.
Born with his twin brother in Worcester on May 22nd, 1969, Thomas graduated from Worcester Vocational High School and remained a proud Worcesterite for his entire life. In 2008, he entered the energy business as a commercial energy consultant, and in 2020, he became managing partner of Fuse Energy alongside founder and partner Steve Janes. He was passionate and profoundly dedicated to his work and was an active member of the Marlborough business community, serving as Vice President of the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce.
Thomas was fiercely loyal and immensely generous, devoting himself to numerous organizations and various friend circles. A proud Freemason and Shriner, he was a member of Level Lodge in Shrewsbury and the Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association, Sands of Time Chapter in Leominster. He also volunteered regularly at the Ronald McDonald House in Providence, RI. When he wasn’t giving back to his community, Thomas could be found on the road astride his Harley Davidson, riding with his motorcyclist friends; shooting with the Bay Path Archers; or, in the summer, on the beach until dusk, napping next to loved ones. He had a booming, infectious laugh and wicked sense of humor, and will be remembered for a disposition that was larger and brighter than life.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday, September 21st from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic service to be held at 7:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL
HOME, 592 Park Ave, Worcester, MA 01603. The funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, September 22nd at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Parish, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603, with the burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
